July 1, 2002 marked the inception of the Development Plan Review Department. The department was formed in an effort to better manage and facilitate the growing volume of development plans that the county receives. The primary function of this department is to focus attention solely on the plan review process; thereby creating a system that is both efficient and comprehensive.
This department is responsible for the site development review of all residential, commercial and industrial sites, the review of all subdivision final plats, and will ensure compliance to county codes and ordinances.
