Current Closures

Bridges Road dirt part from Willow Ln. to Sterling Place has been closed due to flooding



Ivey Edwards Lane will be closed Wednesday, May 12, 2010, from SR 42 to Railroad tracks. This part will remain closed permanently. If you have any questions please contact SPLOST at 770-288-7319.



Leyland Cypress Way will be closed at West Panola Road, Wednesday, June 16, 2010. This intersection will remain closed permanently.



Panola Road from East Atlanta Road to Dudley Drive will close, June 30, 2010. This section of the road will remain closed permanently and traffic will be redirected through the new align Panola Road, when construction is completed. If you have any questions please contact SPLOST 770-288-7319



Singley Drive dirt part is closed at the wooden bridge. Detour signage will be posted. This will remain closed until further notice.



Rock Quarry Road will be closed at the railroad tracks Wednesday, October 12, 2011 and remain closed until Wednesday, December 21, 2012. This is to construct a bridge over the railroad tracks. Detour signage will be posted. If you have any questions you can contact SPLOST at 770-288-7319



Swan Lake Road across the dam will be closed Monday, December 19, 2011 until further notice. This is per the Swan Lake Home Owner's Association.



On Monday, April 23, 2012, the intersection fo Nail Road and Nail Drive and continuing approximately 1,200' to the west of Nail Drive will be closed. This is to allow for the installation of the new intersection of Nail Road and Nail Drive. Road will re-open, Tuesday, May 1, 2012. This is for City of McDonough. On Wednesday, April 25, 2012 Nail Road and Nail Drive will both be closed beginning at the entrance of The Villas of South Point Apartment Complex, and continuting to Cornerstone Baptist Church. This is to allow for the installation of the new intersection of Nail Drive and Nail Road. Road should re-open on Wednesday, May 9, 2012.
