For school ages through adult, we offer events such as softball, track & field, long-distance running, soccer, volleyball, basketball, alpine skiing, tennis, motor activities, roller skating, floor hockey, bowling, bocce, power lifting, figure skating, swimming, and more.
Competitions
Local Competitions are held in Henry County year round; Area Competitions are seasonal and held Summer & Winter; State Competitions are held in the Summer, Fall, and Winter; International Competitions are held every 4 years.
Volunteers & Sponors
If you are interested in becoming a Special Olympics Coach, and volunteering your time to change the lives of many Special Olympic athletes, please give us a call, as we are recruiting for new sports daily.
Henry County Special Olympics Athletes are competing in Sectionals throughout the state in CobbCounty, Camilla, and Lagrange. If you would like to sponsor any of our athletes, please contact the Therapeutic Division and we would gladly give you the information needed for the sponsorship.
