Zoning Advisory Board Agenda Change:
Case RZ-15-09 - Rezoning from R-3 (Single-Family Residence) to C-3 (Highway Commercial) for property located at 3750 and 3760 North Henry Blvd for the proposed use of general office space which was scheduled to be heard on July 9, 2015 has been postponed until September 10, 2015 at the request of the applicant.
Case RZ-15-11 - Admiral Company, request to rezone property on Brannan Road from R-3 to R-2 which was scheduled to be heard on July 9, 2015 has been removed from the agenda.
Case CU-15-10 - Mill Road Partners, conditional use for an assisted living facility on Mill Road, which was scheduled to be heard on July 9, 2015 has been removed from the agenda.

The mission of the Planning and Zoning
Department is to effectively manage community change in the
short and long term with regards to land use, transportation,
historic preservation and overall development, in order to
create a sustainable, livable, and economically successful
future for the citizens of Henry County.
The means by which the Planning and Zoning Department is to
effectively manage community change is the comprehensive
review and approval of all developments within the City of
Stockbridge and unincorporated areas of Henry County. In addition,
the Planning and Zoning Department interprets and implements
the goals and objectives of the Joint Comprehensive Development
Plan and interprets the regulations and requirements of the
Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances.
